Doing things the 'dog' way

The best teachers of dogs are dogs themselves.  A puppy learns from birth what is and, more importantly, what ISN’T acceptable behaviour in the dog world.

From Day 1 he will be told by his mother when he is doing something unwanted, and as he continues to grow, he will continue to be taught by his mother, siblings and the other pack members.  He will learn a CLEAR SET OF RULES for pack life.

Understanding how dogs teach each other is key to raising a well-behaved pet.  Dogs don’t speak English (or any other language!), instead they ‘talk dog’.  Learning how they do this and being able to replicate their methods is key to my approach.

Dogs aren’t born with behavioural issues. They are usually learned behaviours. Understanding how those issues were created, and learning the skills needed to deal with them, are key.

I will treat your dog to an hour’s walk, alone or with a play friend, in any type of weather.

And don’t worry about the mess, I will  return your dog clean!
